This Privacy Policy describes how SapienCX LLC ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use TariffSignals (tariffsignals.com). We take your privacy seriously and do not sell your data.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you subscribe, we collect your email address, which is used to create your account and send service communications.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We receive confirmation of payment status and your Stripe customer ID.

Usage data: We may log which tariff domains and signals you access to improve the service. We do not track or sell your browsing behavior outside TariffSignals.

Communications: If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence to respond to you.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve TariffSignals
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send service-related emails (account, billing, product updates)
• To respond to support requests
• To detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized access

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe — payment processing (governed by Stripe's privacy policy)
• Supabase — database infrastructure (data stored in U.S. data centers)
• Netlify — platform hosting
• Law enforcement — only when required by valid legal process

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, we retain data for up to 90 days before deletion, except where longer retention is required by law.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Row Level Security on our database, and service-role-only API access. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Tracking

TariffSignals uses only essential session storage (browser localStorage) for access token management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing tom@phase3ai.com. We will respond within 30 days. Account deletion removes your email, access token, and subscription record from our systems.

8. Children's Privacy

TariffSignals is intended for professional use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of TariffSignals after changes constitutes acceptance.
